Thursday 5th October 2023 is National Poetry Day and I’m delighted that, for the first time following COVID, the Wirral Libraries NPD reading is returning to Wallasey Library.

We start at 18:00 and run through to 19:30.

Everyone is welcome BUT Wirral Libraries require attendees to confirm their interest by booking a FREE place via Eventbrite. The link to the booking page is embedded below this blog.

All readers will get a 5 minute slot. I would ask everyone to remember this is a public library and there is the liklihood children will be in earshot of the reading space so please moderate content accordingly.

All our libraries need support to survive – if writers don’t get behind a big, accessible, free to use building full of books then no one will! Hopefully I’ll see you there!
